What's New in OCP 3.3.0

The OCP 3.3.0 release delivers improvements across speech synthesis, natural language understanding, agentic AI, connectivity, and platform operations. Below is a summary of the highlights customers can take advantage of this release.

Enhanced Speech Synthesis

  • New Voices & Language Coverage - OCP TTS 2.8.0 introduces verbalization improvements focused on Greek (el-GR) and English (en-US, en-AU) locales, delivering more natural, expressive speech experiences for customers in those markets.

  • Smarter Context-Aware Abbreviation Handling (English) - Common short forms such as gov., co., org., no., and in. are now read according to their position in the sentence, eliminating misreads in customer-facing prompts.

  • Greek Verbalization & Pronunciation - Currency amounts, decimals, percentages, digit-prefix compounds, units (GB/MB), and gender agreement now verbalize naturally, raising the bar for Greek-language voice experiences.

  • SSML <phoneme> Tag Stability - Phoneme markers are now correctly applied across all supported languages and voices, including multi-word overrides and very long prompts (800+ characters) with many phoneme tags.

  • Security patches included in this release.

Smarter NLU & Broader Language Support

  • NLU Service 1.14.0 - Administrators can now manage xPacks directly from the NLU admin panel, rename artifacts after creation, and apply individual group configuration updates without resetting other fields. Full evaluation and model cleanup are now more reliable, and importing models with duplicate context rules surfaces explicit errors.

  • New Polish Language xPack - A brand-new Universal deepNLU® xPack for Polish (pl-PL) is now available, expanding OCP's reach to Polish-speaking markets.

  • NLU Accuracy Improvements Across 9 Languages - Updated xPacks for en-US, en-GB, es-US, pt-BR, pt-PT, and uk-UA deliver targeted fixes for amounts, dates, alphanumeric sequences, dialog acts, UK postcodes, and closing detection, reducing misrecognitions and improving confidence in production environments.

  • Security updates included in this release.

Agentic AI & Dialog Improvements

  • DiaManT 10.43.0 - Introduces CDRs for Agents for richer reporting on agent-based conversations, global NLU configuration applied across flows, and full support for the Dutch (nl-NL) locale. The release also resolves edge cases in NLU timeout handling and Voice Biometrics user retrieval.

  • Concierge Agent in OCP Flows (DiaManT 10.42.0) - DiaManT now supports a Concierge Agent that can act as the entry point of an OCP flow, enabling dynamic, AI-driven call routing from the very first dialog step.

  • DTMF Intent Mapping - Operators can now map DTMF key presses (0–9, *, #) to specific NLU Intents directly from the miniApps UI, enabling more flexible and precise caller navigation flows.

  • Word Boosting for ASR - miniApps now support Word Boosting for GENERIC ASR models (English and Spanish), allowing enterprises to improve recognition accuracy for domain-specific vocabulary such as product names, account types, and commands.

  • UK Postcode Validation - A new prebuilt UK postcode validation is now available in the Alphanumeric miniApp, ready to use out of the box.

  • Polish (pl-PL) miniApps Support - Grammar declarations and locale entries for Polish are now included, complementing the new pl-PL NLU xPack for end-to-end Polish language deployments.

  • miniApp Sensitivity Management - Data sensitivity settings (None, Irreversible Masking, or Envelope Encryption) can now be updated directly from the OCP Console® without requiring a back-end change. Each change is recorded in the audit log.

  • Instant Configuration Updates - miniApp configuration changes now take effect immediately at runtime, removing the previous delay of up to five minutes for changes to appear in live calls.

Speech Recognition Advancements

  • Hybrid Turn Detection - deepASR® 8.7.0 combines audio signals and partial speech transcriptions to determine when a caller has finished speaking, delivering more natural conversation pacing and reducing premature interruptions or unnecessary waits.

  • Multiple Address Assets per Recognition Step - Address recognition now accepts multiple postal-area asset sets in a single step, reducing friction in address-collection flows and improving first-attempt recognition rates.

  • Enhanced Liveness Detection - Anti-spoofing parameters are now retrieved automatically from group configuration at the start of each call.

  • Includes hotfixes 8.6.1 and 8.6.2 delivered earlier in the cycle for accurate logging of dynamic grammar recognitions and reliable final results with legacy voice detection.

Connectivity & Integration Updates

  • Chat Connector 8.17.0 - The caller IP can now be forwarded to DiaManT for enhanced context and fraud-prevention use cases. New HOLD and DTMF control utterances give enterprises more precise session management capabilities. Includes a fix for Salesforce-transferred links arriving correctly on the user side, and accurate text input handling that preserves non-ASCII characters.

  • AGI-Connector 4.22.0 - Introduces selective text-to-speech streaming per group for gradual rollouts, and system prompt support for Hybrid Turn Detection. Includes a fix for Whole Call Recording on NICE CCaaS V2 deployments using SIP-header routing.

  • Integration Configurations 1.12.0 - Administrators can now enable IVR text-to-speech streaming individually for each group, allowing gradual rollouts to specific customer groups without changing the configuration for the entire environment.

Audio & Media

  • Audio Hub 7.2.0 - Updates to the audio infrastructure layer, improving reliability for media processing workflows.

Data & Analytics

  • Exports Service 1.12.0 - Adds support for exporting Agent Assist session events (Agent Assist End and Agent Assist Step topics), enabling richer reporting and analysis of agent-assisted conversations. Export subscriptions now also support an audience parameter in authorization token requests for compatibility with identity providers that require this field.

Platform Operations

  • Environments Manager 1.27.0 - A new Agentic-Enabled Groups section is now available in the Console Admin area, enabling administrators to create, view, edit, and delete agentic-enabled groups. Importing applications now shows remaining flow slots before commit, and applications using an orchestrator router agent can now be exported.

  • deepASR 8.7.0 - Updated speech recognition engine with the new capabilities listed above. This release also includes hotfixes 8.6.1 and 8.6.2 delivered earlier in the cycle.
