What's New in OCP 3.7.0
The OCP 3.7.0 release delivers improvements across agentic AI, integrations, connectivity, speech, language coverage, and platform operations. Below is a summary of the highlights you can take advantage of this release.
Agentic AI & Dialog Improvements
-
Silent Caller Detection - DiaManT® 10.47.0 automatically recognizes callers who never provide any input, and Orchestrator 1.37.1 lets applications route them straight to a transfer or exit action instead of cycling through repeated no-input prompts.
-
Scheduled Application Variables - Application Variables can now activate only within a defined date and time window, such as a holiday notice that turns itself on and off, with no application redeploy required.
-
Per-Task Agent Retry Limits - Individual agent tasks can override the default human-agent-request and no-input retry counts, allowing faster escalation when a caller explicitly asks for a person.
-
Speech Recognition Tuning by Agent and Language - Orchestrator 1.37.0 lets you choose a recognition grammar, tune recognition parameters, and boost key words or phrases for each virtual agent and language, with an app-wide default so every agent benefits without repeated setup.
-
Model-Aware Voice Selection - Voice selection now reflects each voice's underlying speech model and quality tier, giving a clearer view of available text-to-speech options. Premium or exclusive voices prompt acceptance of the applicable terms before use.
-
Smarter Knowledge Base Search for Follow-Up Questions - Pathfinder 1.9.5 understands the original question behind brief caller replies such as "yes", improving answer accuracy across multi-turn conversations.
-
Clearer Escalation Queue Setup - Guardrail flow input fields for escalation queues now carry editable descriptions, making setup easier to understand and maintain.
miniApps & Integrations
-
Prebuilt Integrations for WebService miniApps - OCP miniApps® 2.44.0 adds a Prebuilt Integrations tab, so you can configure a supported provider integration (operation, target object, and fields) directly in the miniApp editor, without building custom outbound calls. Provider credentials are handled securely behind the scenes.
-
Mock Response Engine for WebService Testing - Simulate external service responses, including errors and edge cases, while building and testing WebService miniApps, without depending on live third-party endpoints. See Mocking Responses in miniApps.
-
Transfer Providers Configured in One Place - Integration Configurations 1.14.0 brings transfer settings for NICE inContact, CFront, Talkdesk, and Salesforce into the Integrate tab, each with its own card. Existing configurations continue working with no re-setup required.
-
More Control Over Caller Experience - Set your own greeting reaction threshold per session, fine-tune Google Chirp voice volume with the correct decibel range (-96 to +16 dB), and rely on consistent no-match handling when callers mix speech and touch-tone input.
-
Faster Cached WebService Responses - WebService miniApps with many cached responses now respond faster at runtime.
-
Simplified Chat Tab - Chat Widget configuration moves to a dedicated tab in Integrations; the miniApp Chat tab now focuses on key generation, transfer configuration, and a Try WebChat button.
Connectivity & Digital Channels
-
Call Context That Travels With Transfers - AGI-Connector 4.24.0 carries selected application data across call transfers using the standard SIP User-to-User header (RFC 7433), so callers don't need to repeat details or re-identify themselves when a call moves between OCP instances.
-
Clearer Agent Timeout Handling in Chat - Webchat 2.38.0 shows a clear message when an agent is unavailable, and Chat Connector 8.19.1 reports an accurate end-of-chat status when an agent transfer request times out.
-
Salesforce Inactivity Handling - Chat sessions connected to Salesforce now close automatically and notify the customer when Salesforce signals an inactivity timeout.
-
Richer Call Data for RingCentral Agent Assist - Agent Assist 2.0.3 now includes call direction on all call events for RingCentral, and post-call summaries and sentiment are generated only when the call actually ends.
Speech Recognition & Synthesis
-
New Locales and Lexis Voices - TTS 3.3.0 adds verbalization support for Peninsular Spanish (es-ES), Mexican Spanish (es-MX), and Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR), alongside new Lexis voices in those locales.
-
More Natural Reading of Numbers and Codes - US telephone numbers, fractions and measurements (for example, 1/2 kg), decimals without a leading zero, spelled-out text, and alphanumeric codes are now read more naturally, without SSML markup.
-
Reliable Prompts on Longer Calls - mrcpTTS 1.2.2 resolves an issue where prompts could stop part-way through on longer calls.
-
Better Accuracy Around Natural Pauses - deepASR® (STT 8.10.0) captures only the audio spoken before a short pause, so words after a pause are attributed to the right part of the conversation.
-
Cleaner Batch Transcripts - Batch Transcription Service 1.3.1 renders two-digit numbers as digits and clearly separates service outages from invalid input.
NLU & Language Coverage
-
New deepNLU® xPacks - OXP 1.21.0 adds a nl-NL Universal+ xPack with address recognition; OXP 1.21.1 adds a new Swedish (sv-SE) Universal xPack and an en-US Redaction xPack.
-
Belgian and French Address Recognition - The fr-FR and fr-CA xPacks gain new entities for Belgian cities, postcodes, provinces, and regions, plus French areas, districts, villages, and points of interest.
-
Spanish Accuracy Improvements - The es-ES and es-US xPacks add date range recognition, sentiment detection (es-ES), standalone NATO alphabet letters, and more reliable spelled-letter and digit sequences.
-
Broader Accuracy Tuning - Updated en-AU, en-GB, en-US, fr-BE, nl-NL, nl-BE, and pl-PL xPacks deliver targeted fixes for dates, alphanumeric values, and dialog acts, with longer accepted Numeric (21 digits) and Alphanumeric (27 characters) values.
-
French (Belgium) and Danish in miniApps - OCP miniApps now support the fr-BE and da-DK locales.
Self-Learning Agents
-
Flexible Contact Center Ingestion - Self Learning Agents 1.16.0 lets operators choose a Test, Evaluation, or Production ingestion profile, adds Amazon Transcribe as a speech-to-text option, shows only active inbound voice queues, and skips very short dropped contacts to save quota.
Platform Operations & Analytics
-
Expanded Performance Monitoring - DiaManT 10.47.0 adds latency metrics for external dependency calls, broken down by timeout and error type, along with clearer diagnostic logs for faster issue triage.
-
Admin-Level Access to Metrics - Metrics API 3.5.0 lets administrators retrieve group and aggregation data under admin-level permissions, keeping sensitive metrics access separate from standard user access.
-
Reliable Deployments - Orchestrator 1.37.0 and 1.37.1 ensure agentic apps always deploy their latest saved configuration, agent tools deploy with full configuration intact, and applications with a global NLU override import successfully.
-
Steady Performance at Peak Volume - Pathfinder 1.9.6 keeps call handling reliable during busy periods.
