NLU Tags lists

An NLU tag (Natural Language Understanding tag) is a label applied to user input that activates specialized parsing rules within an NLU system. These tags guide the system to recognize and extract specific types of information—such as dates, times, monetary amounts, percentages, or alphanumeric sequences—from natural language utterances. By applying the appropriate NLU tag, the system can interpret ambiguous or context-sensitive inputs more accurately, ensuring that the extracted entities match the intended meaning. For example, tagging an input as "monetary" ensures that numbers are interpreted as amounts of money, while a "date" tag ensures numbers are processed as calendar dates.
